Tell us what changes we can make to the streets in the Brunswick Park area to make it easier to walk, wheel, cycle or just spend time in the area.
A few years ago we introduced a number of measures in the streets around Brunswick Park, to reduce motor vehicle traffic and make the streets safer for walking and cycling. These measures have been in 'temporary' form since then.
Now we will be installing permanent infrastructure at these locations. While we are doing so, we would like your thoughts on any additional measures that would make the area more attractive and easy to use for residents.
In particular, people have commented on the narrow pavements on Benhill Road (north of Vicarage Road), and we would like to explore your thoughts on possibly widening the pavements in this area, by providing buildouts where trees obstruct the available width.
Elsewhere on Benhill Road, outside the nature garden, we propose to replace the existing speed hump with a raised table crossing and improve the Owgan Close junction to make a better walking experience.
This is in line with our Streets for People programme, which is looking at improving streets across the whole of Southwark.
You can view the current plans for proposed measures in the Brunswick Park area below, and tell us what you think using the survey.
Your feedback will help us shape proposals
for the area.
