2nd Round Consultation 21/23 Parkhouse Street

Closed 20 May 2016

Opened 21 Apr 2016

Feedback expected 31 May 2016

Overview

This is the second round of 21/23 Parkhouse Street consultations. In response to feedback from the last consultation we have:

  • Identified a preferred choice from the previously consulted on options
  • Redesigned the proposed development in order to create a more pedestrian focused courtyard space.
  • Reduced the height of the commercial building whilst increasing the height of the residential building

Please take a look at the consultation boards below for further details on how the proposals have changed since the last round.

Why your views matter

The council has been seeking your views on a proposed development at 21/23 Parkhouse Street. Following the last consultation held at Cambridge House on 25th January we are proposing a split residential and commercial development. It is estimated that the number of residential units would be around 32 and be of mixed tenure so to include homes for private sale, intermediate housing (eg. shared ownership, key worker and discounted market rent homes) and social rent (affordable housing).

We want to know what you think of our designs and our plans for the regeneration of this site.

What happens next

A further consultation will take place before proposals are submitted for planning.

Please email housingregen@southwark.gov.uk to add your details to the mailing list for further information regarding the regeneration proposals at 21/23 Parkhouse Street.
