Overview

Nunhead Cemetery Conservation Management Plan (CMP) public consultation

The council’s cemeteries and conservation management plans

Nunhead Cemetery, Camberwell Old Cemetery and Camberwell New Cemetery are all managed by Southwark Council. All three cemeteries are located in the south of the borough, and each has highly valued physical and community heritage assets with backgrounds linked closely to the history of the borough itself.

Conservation Management Plans (CMPs) are a management resource providing a review of the ecology, landscape and tree/woodland management for each cemetery. They highlight the value of that heritage and ecology, and include management policy and guidance which aims to protect and enhance that value for the future, setting out our vision and policy at an individual cemetery level for stakeholders and residents.

If you would like to speak to the project team with any questions please either;

Attend a drop in event at The Green Community Centre, 5 Nunhead Green, SE15 3QQ. Anytime from 3-7pm on Wednesday 28 June.
