Dickens estate new hedging proposal - have your say

Closed 9 Sep 2022

Opened 1 Aug 2022

Overview

A local resident has successfully put in a bid to fund new hedging, to help transform the Dickens Estate.  The funding comes from a pot of money called the Community Enhancement Fund from Tideway.

The new hedging will be made up of noise reducing planting and evergreen hedges, similar to the ones that already exist on the estate at Tupman, Rudge and Wrayburn.

The hedging proposal aims to help improve the health and wellbeing of residents on the estate.  The new hedging will be maintained by the council's gardening and grounds maintenance team.

We are keen for residents on the estate to give us their views on the hedging proposal that aims to improve the visible and environmental area of the local people who live, work or visit the area. Please spare a few minutes to give us your views.

This consultation is being carried out by our sustainable growth team, and closes, 9 September 2022.
