Overview

Tell us what you think about our plans to develop Family Hubs in Southwark.

What is a Family Hub?

Family hubs are one-stop-shops where all families with children can access the help they need directly, or can be supported by knowledgeable people who can help you access the help you need. Family Hubs provide help and support for families with children from pregnancy, through a child's early years, and all the way through until they reach the age of 19 (or 25 for young people with special educational needs and disabilities).

Family Hubs bring professionals and services from right across the council, from the health, schools, community and the voluntary sectors, as well as other teams and groups that you tell us are helpful - to work together in one place providing the right types of support in your local area.

You can learn more about Family Hubs on our website or by clicking this link.

Why your views matter

We are asking local people who use our services currently, have used them in the past or who may use our services in the future to tell us what your needs are, what your local area needs most, and how the services and facilities we need to develop will work best for you.

Will there be more chances to have our say?

Absolutely, we are asking for your help in the very early stages of our planning and we want to keep this conversation going as we do more work to get the right services in the right place for you.  Over the next 12 months we will have lots of whole borough discussions and lots of local area discussions so please do register to receive updates on when they will be.
