Revised CIL Charging Schedule and Regulation 123 List
Overview
The council has started public consultation on a revised Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) draft charging schedule and regulation 123 list. This follows the public consultation on the preliminary draft charging schedule last year. The charging schedule is being revised to ensure that the council can secure sufficient funding for infrastructure to support growth in the Old Kent Road Opportunity Area, including the Bakerloo Line extension in the Old Kent Road area.
We are consulting on the revised draft charging schedule and Regulation 123 List between 30 January and 13 March, with a view to adopt the proposed revised charging schedule and regulation 123 list later in 2017, subject to an examination by an independent planning inspector in the summer.
Please leave your comments here to be considered by the council and the appointed independent planning inspector as part of the consultation. Please also indicate if you would like to be heard at the examination in public to be held in summer 2017.
In your representation to us please also let us know if you would like to be notified at a specified address of any of the following:
- that the draft CIL charging schedule has been submitted to the CIL Examiner in accordance with section 212 of the Planning Act 2008
- the publication of the recommendations of the CIL Examiner and the reasons for those recommendations
- the approval of the CIL charging schedule by the council
