We are working with with Transport for London (TfL) to make Peckham town centre safer for pedestrians. We asked what you thought could be done.
We received 229 responses. We have used this feedback to develop a number of suggestions to make the town centre safer for pedestrians.
This project includes roads managed by TfL. We are waiting for TfL to confirm timescales. We will provide an update by early 2017. In the meantime, we are using the feedback from this consultation to inform other projects, such as Peckham Square.
Southwark Council is working with Transport for London to improve pedestrian safety in Peckham town centre.
For the study to be successful we’d like to work closely with the community. We need to understand how people feel about the pedestrian environment in Peckham and listen to ideas from the community about how it could be improved. The project is about innovation so we’re looking for fresh thinking and creative approaches. All this will be backed up with analysis of the data we have about safety issues and pedestrian movement in the area.
Please fill in our survey or visit one of our public events (see the grey box opposite for more information)
Thank you for your interest but the consultation has now closed. You can read the results and next steps below.
