Old Kent Road Petrol Station Regeneration Consultation

Overview

We have made a commitment to build 11,000 new council homes for local residents. We are planning to build some of these new homes on the Old Kent Road Petrol Station site. Some of the new homes would be for private sale. The money raised from these sales will help us deliver the affordable homes.

This is the third consultation on this proposal. We try to use all of the feedback we receive from residents. Here is a summary of how we used your feedback from the first consultation

• Reduced the number of storeys from 8 to 5.
• Removed the balconies to protect residents from air contamination but provided a communal roof terrace.
• Increased the amount of commercial space by 30sqm to 196 sqm.
