11,000 New Council Homes - Lomond Grove

Closed 18 Dec 2019

Opened 18 Nov 2019

Overview

Southwark council has made a historic commitment to deliver 11,000 new homes in Southwark by 2043, with 2,500 delivered by 2022. To make this a success we need to know what residents think and make sure residents shape our proposals. This is the key to the delivery of quality housing that improves the local area and the lives of Southwark residents.

One of the sites we are proposing to build new homes is the area to the rear of 61-91 Brisbane Street, facing Lomond Grove (the site next to the Sunlight Service Group Ltd) a potential development to provide mixed sized properties, related to the needs of the area.

Please see document below for boards presented at the consultation event on the 3rd December 2019 regarding the proposed new development on Lomond Grove. These are the very early initial proposals for the site and will be updated as designs are developed.
