Linsey Street - your views on the proposed scheme for new homes

Closed 14 Oct 2019

Opened 25 Sep 2019

We've committed to  build 11,000 new council homes across Southwark by 2043 - 2,500 of these by 2022. It's a big goal, but crucial if we're going to tackle the housing crisis and make sure our residents have quality homes they can be proud of, now and in the future.

Throughout the design and development of all our new council homes, we work closely with residents and the local community to help shape the way we do things, so your feedback is important to us.

Eveline Lowe estate -  Linsey Street garage block

We are  considering developing new council homes where a garage block is currently situated. These garages are no longer used for their intended purpose and could be used to build council homes for local residents in housing need.

The map below shows the indicative area of council land on which we may develop in consultation with local residents.

Why We Are Consulting

We want residents to be involved in choosing the best development option for the area. Please take a few minutes to give us your views in this short questionnaire.

If you are having difficulties and would like some help with completing this form, please contact the New Homes Engagement officer Rahala Khalida on 0207 525 0866.
