Awareness of child exploitation survey - for Southwark businesses.

Closed 30 Jun 2019

Opened 1 Apr 2019

We are working to keep children safe while they are travelling to and from school, and when they are out with their friends in the evenings and weekends.

This survey of Southwark businesses will help us to understand how best to support Southwark businesses to play a role in preventing children and young people being coerced and physically forced into sexual activities they do not want, or forced into doing criminal activities such as carrying drugs.

This survey ends on the 30th June 2019.

Thank you.

Why We Are Consulting

Our work so far has been with parents, community groups and teams of staff in the council. We believe that Southwark businesses have an important role in keeping children safe and would like to hear from you about what support you need.

There is information at the end of the survey about who to contact and how, and what to watch out for when concerned about children’s safety

What Happens Next

We will analyse the results and look at how we can improve the work we do to raise awareness of the exploitation risks for children with local businesses.
