11,000 New Council Homes - 275 - 275a Underhill Road

Closed 25 Jan 2019

Opened 14 Dec 2018

Overview

Southwark Council has made a historic commitment to deliver 11,000 new homes in Southwark by 2043, with 2,500 delivered by 2022. To make this a success we need to know what residents think and make sure residents shape our proposals. This is the key to the delivery of quality housing that improves the local area and the lives of Southwark residents.

As part of our commitment, we are considering the development of new homes on the site of two vacant houses at 275 and 275a Underhill Road SE22 0PA.

Why We Are Consulting

We consult with residents about our proposals as part of our commitment to deliver new council homes. We want residents to be included in choosing the best development option for the area.

The consultation boards shown here were presented to residents at the drop-in event which took place on Tuesday, 6 November, 2018, where there was the opportunity to meet the project team and comment on the initial proposals.

What Happens Next

Residents are invited to the final public drop-in event before the planning application is submitted in May.

Our architects have developed the plans to take into account the feedback which we received, and surveys which were commissioned for the scheme.

The meeting will be held on Monday 25 March, 2019, from 4 pm till 7 pm, at

Dulwich Library, 368 Lordship Lane, London SE22 8NB.
