Overview

Our residents across Southwark are concerned about housing. That’s why we’re building 11,000 new council homes in the borough by 2043 - 2,500 of these by 2022. It’s a big goal, but it’s crucial if we’re going to tackle the housing crisis and make sure our residents have quality homes they can be proud of, now and in the future.   

We have purchased No.1 Ann Moss Way to provide a range of new council homes to meet local housing need. The site map showing 1 Ann Moss Way is edged in red below.

We want to hear from anyone who is interested in having their say.  However we especially want to make sure we are considering the views of people who live close to the site.

Why your views matter

It is really important to us that we work with existing residents when building  new council homes in Southwark. We want to hear what you think about the proposal to build on this site. Your feedback is very important and will be used to develop the plans for this site. Please raise your concerns and comments with the project manager, Emma Gittus.

What happens next

Over the next coming months we will be appointing the Architect and Employers Agents to assist us in the design development process.

Once the Architect is appointed, we will write to you again to update you on the Residents’ Project Group and invite you to a drop-in session to meet the Architects and Employers Agent and to provide feedback on the queries or concerns you raised.

As the scheme develops, we will keep you updated through newsletters, by postings on this website, and wherever possible through drop-ins and events at times that will work for everyone.
