Be a part of shaping the New Youth Service

Let’s kick Covid into touch and have your say on what activities you want to do
We want to find out which activities you like most and would like to take part in. We would like to hear from you if you’re aged 11 – 25 years, to improve our understanding of what activities you want to do and how you find out about things you like doing.
Your views are important to us because they will help us shape the services you want. It will take about 15 minutes to complete six short questions. The most popular activities chosen will be part of our future youth service offer. There is also a chance to win £150 worth of vouchers in our competition.
The survey is being carried out by our youth service team at Southwark Council. We look forward to hearing from you by the closing date of 31st March 2021.

Privacy statement
Southwark Council uses your personal data to record your response to the consultation. Section 1 of the Localism Act 2011 alllows us to do this. The council does not require your permission to process your data and failure to tell us your information may mean that we are unable to process your response. Your personal information will only be used by our youth services team, and will be destroyed after four years.

What happens next
We will gather and analyse the information from the online survey from April - June 2021.
We will use what you have told us to develop a new programme of activities that will be offered next year.
We will also choose a new logo/image/name for the new youth service (sent in by a young person via the survey) which will be developed with a designer.
Officers will return to Cabinet (our senior group of local councillors) in June 2021, with the new programme of activities (this is known as a commissioning plan).
The winner of the competition to develop a new logo/image/name for the youth service will be announced in April 2021.
The results of the survey will be shared in summer 2021. You will be able to see which activities were the most popular and how this information has shaped the new programme of activities.
The results will be shared with people that have completed the online survey, and other key people and organisations with an interest in seeing the report
