Youth services in Southwark - have your say

Closed 8 Mar 2020

Opened 24 Feb 2020

Overview

Help us to shape how we provide services for young people to enjoy.

We’re looking at how we can plan to provide better services and activities for young people to enjoy.  In order to do this, we would like to hear from young people (10-25 years), parents and carers, to improve our understanding of:

  • how young people currently access youth services
  • the types of activities they would like to see in the borough, and
  • the things that stops them from getting involved in certain activities

What you tell us will help us to work out how best we can plan better services and activities for young people to enjoy.  Your views are therefore important.  The survey will take no longer than 5 - 10 minutes to complete.

This survey is being carried out by our youth service team at Southwark Council.  We look forward to hearing from you by the closing date of 8 March 2020.

Privacy Statement

Southwark Council uses your personal data to record your response to the survey. Section 1 of the Localism Act 2011 allows us to do this. The council does not require your permission to process your data and failure to tell us your information may mean that we are unable to process your response. Your personal information will only be used by our youth service team, and will be destroyed after four years.

If you are concerned about how the council uses your personal data or would like to enquire about the personal information we hold on you, please contact us via dpo@southwark.gov.uk or on 020 7525 5000. More information about your rights is available on our website, or via the Information Commissioner (www.ico.org.uk).

What happens next

In March and April we will be considering everything you have told us. We will use this information to make recommendations about how we can improve youth services in Southwark.

If we have your contact details we will let you know over the summer the decision the Council has made about services for young people.
