Violence against women and girls services
Overview
We want your help to commission high quality support and advocacy services for anyone in Southwark experiencing any form of gender-based violence or abuse (often referred to as Violence against women and girls VAWG).
You can help us anonymously, this includes:
• Domestic abuse
• Female genital mutilation (FGM)
• Forced marriage
• Crimes committed in the name of “honour”
• Sexual violence, abuse, exploitation and rape
• Stalking and/or harassment
• Trafficking for sexual exploitation
• Prostitution
We want to ensure the services we commission provide the right support at the right time to all who need it.
To do this, we want to better understand the views and experiences of women and men who have been affected by any of these issues, either directly or indirectly. Whether or not you have chosen to access services before, your views are important to us.
We will use what you tell us to help shape future services from April 2022.
This survey is being carried out by the Safer Communities Team at Southwark Council. The deadline for responses has been extended to 23rd November 2020.
