Overview

Victory Community Park - final design consultation

Victory Community Park is located close to Elephant and Castle. The local area is undergoing major redevelopment including new homes, new roads, Elephant Park and smaller open spaces.

How we created the final design with public input

We’ve created a design plan to, improve Victory Community Park and create better connections to the local area.  The final design has taken into account public feedback from two previous consultations held in January and September 2020. View the previous Victory Community Park consultation reports

Tell us what you think of the design by 27 September

We are keen to find out what you think of this design, shaped by people who responded to previous two consultations. You can see the final design below this page or on section 1.

This online survey is open to anyone who lives, works or visits Southwark.  Please complete the survey by the closing date of Monday 27 September 2021.

Talk to us in person, Saturday 11 September

You can also join us for a drop-in event at the park on Saturday 11 September, between 12 noon and 4.00 pm.  Our project manager and architects will be there to answer your questions.

Our parks team look forward to hearing from you.

Why your views matter

We are consulting with park visitors and local residents to find out what they think about final design for the park. This will help us identify how we can meet the needs of park visitors.

What happens next

We will consider the responses and see if any changes are needed. The final design will then be submitted for planning permission.  After planning approval, a contractor will be appointed to carry out construction work, estimated to begin in 2022.

A summary of the results will be made available on this hyperlink project webpage, We will also share the results with those who have joined the project mailing list.
