Tell us about your experiences with nature, biodiversity and green spaces in Southwark

Southwark Council is producing The 3^rd Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP). This will build on the success of the two previous plans. This plan sets out clear expectations for residents, businesses, developers, land managers such as housing and schools and third sector groups on how they can contribute towards helping nature in Southwark.

Southwark council uses your personal data to inform public consultations. Section 1 of Localism Act 2011 permits us to do this. We do not require your permission to process your data, however, if you do not provide it, we can still process your response.

Your personal information will only be used by our Parks and Leisure team, it will not be shared with a third party. We will also use your personal data to send you project updates, if you do not want to receive this update, please contact us.

Your personal information will be kept for the duration of the project and destroyed 6 months after the project ends.

Why your views matter

We wish to consult on the key theme of protecting biodiversity and making nature accessible for all.

Protecting biodiversity and making nature accessible to all is a council commitment in the council plan 2018-19 – 2021-22. Southwark will work in partnership with stakeholders to deliver this key theme.

What happens next

On completion of the consultation we will analyse the results and form recommendations from the responses that we receive.
