Help us choose a name for your new library

The Aylesbury Estate is getting a new library along Thurlow Street. The library is expected to open early next year. 

We would like your help in naming your new library.  You can select one of three named suggestions.  You also have the option to give your own suggestion.

We would love to hear from anyone who lives, works or studies in the borough.  This consultation only takes a few minutes to complete.  You can pick up a paper copy at any of our libraries.

This consultation has been set up by Southwark's libraries and leisure team.  The closing date is 14 September 2021. We look forward to hearing from you.

What happens next

After consultation has closed, we will analyse the responses and the name with most votes will win.  We will share the outcome of the consultation within two months and will publicise in libraries.
