Have your say on George Row Play Area

Overview

Help us to shape design proposals for George Row Play Area

Following a public consultation in summer of 2019, the majority of people supported the change from the ball courts to a play area.  There are already ball courts at two other locations nearby, Haredale House and Spenlow House, but this part of the Dickens Estate is lacking in play facilities.

We would now like you to tell us what you think of the two designs for the play area.  You can see a short film about the project and design options please click on this link.

When you have viewed the designs and listened to the film please tell us what you think about the draft design proposal by completing this survey.

This consultation is open to anyone who lives, works or visits the borough. If you wish to talk through the survey contents with someone please email: cgs@southwark.gov.uk

Our cleaner greener safer team at the council looks forward to sharing the key findings from this consultation to local residents early in the summer of 2021.

This consultation closes Tuesday 16 March 2021. Thank you for your interest in the George Row Play area.

What happens next

Once all the responses have been collated and analysed we will write to local residents to let them know the results. If further consultation is required we will be also be in touch.

It is hoped that we will also publish news on the future of George Row Ball Court by early summer 2021.  Look out for announcements on Southwark Council's website, in the local press and on local community noticeboards.
