Consultation for proposed double yellow lines - Abbotswood Road

Overview

Following complaints of vehicle crossovers being obstructed on Abbotswood Road and the disruption with parking on both sides of the road, we are proposing to implement a section of double yellow lines as shown in the below plan.

Abbotswood Road is in a controlled parking zone (Q), Mon - Fri, 11am – 1pm. As a result of this, there are vehicles that park in between drop kerbs, causing obstruction to the existing crossovers in the unrestricted times. Abbottswood Road is a narrow road and when vehicles are parking in between drop kerbs on both sides of the road this causes disruption and obstruction to the two way traffic.
