Tell us about your creative business in Camberwell and Peckham

Overview

The Mayor of London and Southwark Council have set out to support creative businesses and freelancers in Camberwell and Peckham by developing a Creative Enterprise Zone in the area. We want to involve everyone who either works creatively or supports a creative enterprise in Camberwell or Peckham: from artists to metalworkers, cupcake makers to graphic designers and the people behind them like accountants and administrators.

Camberwell and Peckham are areas of huge creative potential, with a wealth of existing diverse creative people and supporters living and working here. With your help we want to evidence the huge contribution that you, as creatives, along with your supporters, and the local community, make in order to protect, support and grow the creative sector in the area.

That's why we are asking you to help us out today. We are carrying out research which will feed into developing an action plan to make the case for funding to the Mayor of London to make the Camberwell and Peckham area a protected Creative Enterprise Zone.  For further information visit www.southwark.gov.uk/cez.

Why your views matter

Whether you are a freelancer, established business, a small start-up, or a one-man-band working away at your kitchen table, we want to hear from you.  Our research and engagement will form the basis for a Stage 2 funding application to support creative enterprise in the area, which will be submitted to the GLA on 31 July 2018.

The data you provide will only be used for our research report which will be part of making the case to the GLA to support our application to develop the CEZ.  You will be notified of further opportunities to contribute to the development of the CEZ, including invitations to future consortium meetings.
